Out in Climate - Tour of Cornell Tech and Happy Hour
Please join us for a special Out in Cllmate tour of Cornell Tech.
Space is limited to 20 people for the tour, but happy hour is open to all who would like to join.
The tour should be over by 5:30 and we'll head over to the Panorama Room atop the Graduate Hotel.
The tour will be led by Michael Samuelian, founding director of the Jacobs Urban Technology Hub at Cornell Tech. The campus is home to multiple LEED Certified buildings, including the Bloomberg Center (Certified Platinum) which features a rooftop photovoltaic array system and geothermal heating and cooling systems. Its power is generated entirely on campus, making it one of the largest Net-Zero energy buildings in the United States. The House is the first residential high-rise to be built to Passive House standards.
Please note, Cornell Tech is offering the tour for free; we are charging a modest price to help cover Out in Climate's costs and to reduce attrition. We've found that when folks pay even a small amount, they're more likely to attend. Please only register if you plan on attending.
We're looking forward to seeing you there!
