Crafting Cards for Real Moments
Let's face it, 2025 has already thrown us curveballs, and sometimes, you just need a good laugh and a stack of pretty (and hilarious) cards to remind yourself you're not alone in this glorious mess.
Join us and Alexandra of Hero of the Story for Comfort Club’s first official mixer of the year! We'll be serving up coffee, catharsis, and a healthy dose of shameless humor. We’ll explore the power of words and creativity through the art of greeting card design & written notes.
This workshop is meant to encourage you to pause & reflect, remind you that your words matter in your life and others' lives, and playfully get you to giggle at the mess... because sometimes laughter truly is the best medicine :)
What to expect:
Meet & Sip: Kick things off with a caffeinated beverage and light mingling.
Hero of the Story Cards & Creative Card Design: Discover the art of greeting card design with the brilliant Alexandra of Hero of the Story. About Alexandra
Alexandra is the mastermind behind Hero of the Story, creating cards for those "oops, life happened" moments. She’s a comedian, a psychology enthusiast, and the friend who will stand by you adding love and levity in difficult times.
“My family has always been big on greeting cards. There is something so personal about reading a loved one’s handwriting that never fails to touch my heart. Comedy has been a huge part of my life ever since I was the jester in our kindergarten play and had all the parents roaring, and psychology and the human spirit has been a lifelong passion of mine. Why we do what we do, and why our inner voices say the sh*t that they say is something I’ve deeply studied from all angles in my background of acting and screenwriting. And yes... I’m also that friend you call after having a miscarriage who’ll make a borderline inappropriate joke (with love!) that totally gets you to laugh through your tears. And that’s how HERO OF THE STORY was born - to bring humor and light to life’s darker moments.” - Alexandra
