About Event

We are thrilled to invite you to be a guest judge at the Starborn Academy Moon Mission Symposium for Salt Lake City School District middle school students!

At this event, students will present their Moon Mission Time Capsule projects, which will be launched to the Moon aboard a NASA CLPS lunar lander (Fall of 2025).

The top-performing students and their teachers, based on judges' scores, will earn the incredible opportunity to represent their middle schools at the Moon Mission launch at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. There, the students and teachers will meet engineers and astronauts and witness their schools' time capsules launch on a rocket to the Moon.

The Starborn Academy Moon Mission is the culmination of a 9-week immersive STEM and virtual reality (VR) program, where students engage in a virtual astronaut training experience, engineering challenges, and real-world problem-solving. This is a fantastic opportunity to highlight young innovators, cutting-edge education, and the future of space exploration.

*Light refreshments will be provided
