Sanketh Adhavarapu is the Co-Founder of Vitalize Care (YCombinator W23), which builds software to help health systems proactively fill staffing gaps by automating outreach to the right nurse at the right time while optimizing for cost. Their platform saves pilot hospitals > $2M in labor costs annually, while saving their nurse managers nearly 60 hours/month by automating manual scheduling tasks. Vitalize Care was chosen as one of TechCrunch’s favorite companies on W23 Demo Day, and is further backed by Startup Health and Telosity Ventures. Prior to founding Vitalize Care, Sanketh was a Venture Fellow at .406 Ventures and avid researcher in medicine, including on neurological diseases, emergency medicine, and mobile health applications. Sanketh is currently on leave from studying health Decision Sciences at the University of Maryland.
Anirudh Joshi is the Co-Founder and CEO of Valar Labs. Anirush leveraged his expertise in the biomedical and computer sciences to found Valar Labs, building clinical grade deep learning to assist oncologists in decision making. He brings a wealth of expertise in the biomedical and computer sciences, holding a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech and Masters of Computer Science at Stanford, and working in various R&D and AI roles, including at Boston Scientific, Microsoft, and PathAI. Valar labs is backed by Andreessen Horowitz and PearVC.
