Speaker Bio:
Tetsu Nakajima is the Founder and General Partner of 15th Rock, as well as the Founder and Representative Director of Spirete, Inc. Prior to this, he held the position of Chief Investment Officer at Mistletoe (founded by Taizo Son, a serial entrepreneur and a brother to Softbank CEO Masayoshi Son), accumulating over 10 years of venture capital investment experience with Innovation Corporation Network of Japan (INCJ), Mistletoe, and 15th Rock Ventures.
His investment focus spans across the automotive and mobility, robotics, IoT hardware, and artificial intelligence sectors, and he actively invests in seed, early, and growth-stage startups in Japan, the United States, and the European Union. Tetsu has a track record of successfully facilitating an IPO and several mergers and acquisitions (M&As).
Furthermore, Tetsu boasts more than 8 years of experience as a research engineer at Toshiba's Corporate R&D center, during which he actively participated in IEEE802.11n and Wi-Fi Alliance standardization activities.
