Bios of Speakers:
Hans Tung is a Managing Partner at GGV Capital, focusing on early-stage investments across the global digital economy ecosystem. He is consistently recognized among the top venture capital investors in the world, having been named to the Forbes Midas list nine consecutive years from 2013-2021, most recently ranking #3. His portfolio includes 17 companies valued at more than $1 billion, including Affirm, Airbnb, Peloton, StockX, and Wish. Hans oversees GGV’s DE&I initiatives, and he is the co-host of the popular podcast, “Evolving for the Next Billion” on entrepreneurship in the US, China, India, SE Asia, and Latin America.
Chelcie Taylor is an Investor at GGV Capital, where she is focused on application layer SaaS, including vertical SaaS, SMBTech, and the API economy. In 2022, she launched GGV’s SMBTech 50 and API-First Index, showcasing the most promising private companies in each category. Prior to joining GGV, Chelcie spent time in strategic and operating roles at Google, CBS, and MediaLink. Chelcie received a B.A. from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
