​JavaScript Events 2

​In this session, we'll use JavaScript to implement a dark mode toggle, work with HTML forms, and implement responsive design using CSS media queries as well as flexbox.

• ​Querying HTML via JavaScript

• ​Updating CSS using JavaScript

• ​Creating a hamburger menu for smaller screens

• ​Using semantic HTML instead of generic elements

​Prerequisites

​We welcome you to the session no matter what experience you have.

​To get the most out of this workshop, we recommend you have a basic understanding of the following topics:

• ​HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals

• ​A grasp of array operators like map and reduce

• ​Basic understanding of flexbox and grid

• ​Completion of JavaScript Events 1 (recommended)
