​About the Convener: Kennedy Ekezie

​Kennedy Ekezie is a visionary leader focused on creating a global culture of responsibility, optimism, and collective economic progress. His immediate north star is to unlock the maximum potential inherent in people to live purposeful and productive lives.

​With a decade of experience in technology, consulting, and development, Kennedy has worked globally, studying ancient civilizations that achieved social prosperity. He founded Kippa to empower Africa’s 100 million+ small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with digital tools for sustainable growth.

​Prior to Kippa, Kennedy lived in Beijing, where he spearheaded TikTok's entry into Africa, contributing towards its growth to become the continent's second most-used app with over 100 million users in five years. He was awarded the prestigious Yenching Scholarship, studying Economics at Peking University, where he examined China’s demographic and socio-cultural strategies for economic prosperity.

​Kennedy was Nigeria’s top-ranked competitive debater from 2015 to 2017, participating in and judging tournaments at 52 universities worldwide. His achievements have been recognized by prominent figures, including Queen Elizabeth II, President Obama’s Young African Leaders Fellowship, Prime Minister Theresa May, Sir John Major, David Beckham, Caroline Kennedy, and Nile Rodgers.

​As a professional speaker, Kennedy frequently addresses global audiences on topics such as Technology, Entrepreneurship, the Future of Work, Diversity, and Youth Mindset at venues like the United Nations, TEDx, Forbes Summit and Fortune 100 companies.
