HackOS 2: ARC-AGI Build Blitz
HackOS 2 is sponsored by Rootly (YC S21)! Learn more about Rootly in the sponsor section below.
Welcome! What is HackOS?
A student-run series of hackathons to collectively create models to beat benchmarks for open access research topics, hosted at the University of Waterloo and McGill.
Who can join?
This hackathon is geared towards students, researchers, and recent grads. We welcome participants of all skill levels, whether you're writing code for the first time or a seasoned developer.
What is happening?
We're going to do our best to score as high as possible on the ARC-AGI benchmark (see the ARC Prize). ARC-AGI measures skill acquisition and, arguably, Artificial General Intelligence. Do whatever you can to beat the benchmark! This is an unsolved problem.
You can hack solo or as a team, and use pre-existing work for this hackathon!
We will provide code to help use the dataset.
After the build blitz, those who want can contribute their models/code to a collaborative paper (a cookbook of ideas for ARC-AGI) which we'll post to Arxiv and potentially submit to the ARC Prize.
