Xiaomi was founded by Lei Jun, KK Wong and 6 other co-founders in 2010. Today, Xiaomi is world third largest smartphone brand ins the world with over 150 million units sold in 2022. The smartphone commodities of Xiaomi include different series such as Mi Series, Mi Note Series, Mi Max Series, Mi Mix Series, Mi NoteBook Series, Redmi Series, Blackshark, and Pocophone. Xiaomi has around 291.6 million active users for its MIUI updates. Besides, the company also offers laptops, mobile apps, mobile accessories, wearables, home appliances, and smart-home devices.

About KK Wong

Born and raised in Hong Kong, KK Wong is the Co-founder of Xiaomi Technology, Director of Xiaomi Foundation and former Head of Xiaomi Explore Lab, where he was responsible for Mi cloud, AIoT platform, and Mi Router/VR business unit.

Graduated from Purdue University in Computer Science, KK has spent 14 years in Microsoft since 1997. He built the data analysis system and workflow system of BizTalk in Seattle, then was responsible for the instant messaging, camera/media applications and cellular core framework in Windows Mobile and Windows Phone 7 in Microsoft China. In 2010, KK co-founded Xiaomi with Mr. Lei-Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi and other partners. KK was responsible for Cloud platform, Mi Router, VR headset(co-develop with the Meta Oculus team), IOT and AI platform in Xiaomi. KK is now the Director of Xiaomi Foundation.

About Edith

Edith is a native Hong Konger and General Partner at Race Capital - an early-stage Silicon Valley venture capital fund investing in all things infrastructure. Edith is the seed investor in Solana (has been dubbed one of the best venture investments of all time), Lightning Network, Agora.io, Placer.ai, RapidAPI, and 60 other amazing startups.

Prior to Race Capital, Edith was a partner at 500 Startups, the world's most active early-stage fund and incubator which invested in Twilio, Credit Karma, Grab, and 2000 more companies.
