Dr. Xuhui Shao

Dr. Xuhui Shao is the Managing Partner of Foothill Ventures, a technology-focused venture fund investing in early stage startups in the US. His investment areas are AI applications, enterprise software and full-stack sensor/data/algo companies. Before that Xuhui has been Yahoo's VP-II Engineering in charge of Yahoo’s global display ads platforms; Founding technologist of Ad Tech pioneer company Turn ($310M exit) and AI risk management company ID Analytics ($170M exit). Xuhui earned his BS and MS degrees from Tsinghua University, and his Ph.D. in EECS from University of Minnesota. Xuhui is an early investor of Plus.AI, Weride.AI and Certik - all subsequent unicorn companies.​

Carol Xie

​Carol, the visionary co-founder and COO of Brix Labs, has propelled the company to the forefront of global talent acquisition with her strategic brilliance and innovative approach. Recognized by Forbes China as one of the 100 most influential Chinese of 2023, Carol has revolutionized remote hiring, supporting over 50 companies and 1,000 engineers worldwide. Under her leadership, Brix Labs achieved a valuation of 100 million USD, with 240% ARR growth and 400% NDR. Her expertise has forged significant global partnerships, and her journey showcases her unmatched ambition and success, making her a leading figure in challenging traditional HR and tech industries.

Kathryn Wu

Kathryn founded Openmart. Openmart is an AI alternative to ZoomInfo that helps sales professionals query millions of unstructured business data like websites, reviews and socials. Openmart is backed by YC and some other top-tier seed funds. Previously, Kathryn studied computer science at UC Berkeley, ran various growth teams at Pinterest, and as the first product manager at Databento, led a team growth from 8 to 35 and scaled the revenue from 0 to 1. In 2022, she made the Women in Fintech Power list for her impactful contributions.
