SAVCA Vancouver: The Year of Resiliency
The technology landscape is undergoing a profound transformation. Since the South Asian Venture Capital Association of Canada hosted its inaugural event in Vancouver two years ago, the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence has been reshaping industries at an unprecedented pace. At the same time, shifting geopolitical dynamics continue to redefine market realities.
Given these shifts, it feels timely to return to Vancouver on the evening of April 3rd for a panel session. We will hear directly from seasoned venture capitalists, who have successfully deployed millions of dollars in capital, as well as experienced startup founders who have built, scaled, and exited their companies.
Together, they will share their insights on identifying opportunities, overcoming challenges, and strategically positioning ventures for success—all in pursuit of answering a crucial question: How do we build resilient startups?
Meet the Panelists:
Manpreet Deol – Investor at Inovia Capital
Jayesh Parmar – CEO / Founder at Gunkii (Ex-CEO at Picatic, sold to Eventbrite)
Jemi Schwingenschloegl – Partner, Growth Venture Fund at BDC
Vik Kambli – COO at Veritree (Ex-Chief Marketing Officer; Clearly (D2C Division), CDL Mentor)
Join us for an evening of insightful discussions, learnings and an opportunity to network with fellow South Asians in the technology and venture capital ecosystem.
A special thank you to Osler and KPMG for sponsoring this event.
