Soft Focus Series Premiere
Soft Focus is a video series that captures the personal worlds and intimate creative processes of Bay Area artists, centering on underrepresented voices through heartfelt conversations and studio visits.
Join us for our first-ever screening, featuring a special set of short documentary films highlighting three talented Bay Area artists: Nahyun Kim, Cynthia Gonzalez, and Chase Irvin. Each film provides a deeply personal look into their divergent yet interconnected practices—exploring themes of identity, vulnerability, heritage, and the transformative power of art.
We're thrilled to gather our community together for this inaugural event, celebrating deeper storytelling, human connection, and the vibrant creative voices shaping the Bay Area art scene.
The screening and group art showcase will take place at 447 Minna’s Black Box Theater, a welcoming space where we'll enjoy snacks, drinks, and great vibes.
Art collectors, appreciators, friends, and family are warmly encouraged to join us.
$5 suggested entry fee—no one turned away for lack of funds.
