In this workshop, authors will learn how to build a successful campaign from three-time Kickstarter awardee Veronica Kirin. Writers will receive an in-depth understanding of how to develop a Kickstarter campaign, the components, and team necessary to pull it off, and how to turn funders into followers who will ultimately buy your book.

About Veronica Kirin
Veronica Zora Kirin is an award-winning author and entrepreneur. She is the author of “Stories of Elders: What the Greatest Generation Knows about Technology that You Don’t,” a two-time award-winning book with research funded via Kickstarter. The eponymous documentary was a finalist at the Lift-Off Film Festival, and she has presented her work at two TEDx events. She has taught workshops on the topics of writing and entrepreneurship at conferences across the globe.
In 2023, Kirin cofounded Anodyne Magazine, an arts and literary magazine publishing FLINTA* health experiences and funded on Kickstarter. Kirin is agented with CeCe Lyra at P.S. Literary. Her poetry, short stories, and essays draw on her experience as a queer immigrant and have been published in anthologies and magazines around the world. She is currently working on her debut memoir.
