Los Angeles Fires Impact Day
Stifel Financial, KPMG, and EVCA present an evening dedicated to the spirit of lending a helping hand to people impacted by the January 2025 Los Angeles fires.
The main event will be a 2-hour volunteering session where we prep high quality, nutritious meals for those impacted by the fires, followed by a shared meal discussing the impact of the fires, climate change, and innovations around prevention and restoration.
Agenda:
Check-in - 5:00pm
Welcome drinks, appetizers - 5:00-5:30pm
Volunteer activity - 5:30-7:30pm
Networking reception - 7:30pm onwards
Check in will be a 5pm with a 5:30pm start time. After volunteering, food and drinks will be provided for a short happy hour. There will be breaks in between and an opportunity to walk around and talk.
What can you expect from the volunteer activity?
Meal preparation, e.g. chop vegetables, roll meatballs or gnocchi, cut chicken, fill and fold pastries. Prep needs are dependent on menu selection.
Roll homemade cookie dough
Assemble the meals in the prepared containers and packaging
Enjoy homemade chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven
Closing discussion, Q&A, and a group photo to preserve the memory
Ample street parking is available next to the venue on Pico and the surrounding side streets.
