​About Jono Hey
​Jono Hey is the author and illustrator of Big Ideas Little Pictures - a collection of the best of Sketchplanations, a more than decade-long project explaining the world one sketch at a time. He’s lived in Europe and the US, working across academia, business, design, product development, entrepreneurship, strategy, and engineering and helping create two successful companies. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Bath. His work brings together this combination of experience to create insightful sketches with a touch of humour. You’ll also find his unique illustrations in Bill Gates’s 2022 book How to Prevent the Next Pandemic.
