About Event

We’re so excited to be back at MUD\WTR!

Harmonize Circle Sing and improv jams are welcoming spaces for spontaneous singing and harmonizing led with joy and passion by practiced facilitators. It's an informal opportunity to sing in a chorus of friends old and new and exercise in the bravery of sharing your voice.

(For new folks, check out our insta @harmonizevoices to get a flavor of our jams. Improv not your thing but still want to sing? Don't worry, we also do pop-up choirs and sleepy concerts and other offerings.)

WHAT IS CIRCLE SINGING?

A spontaneous vocal jam, sung by all of us and led by facilitators in the middle of the circle who invent parts, teach improvised harmonies, and shape the music as we flow from meditative moments to vibrant dance parties and everything in between!

CircleSinging is:

playful

creative

collaborative

imperfect

improvised

a full body exploration

welcoming to all levels

CircleSinging is done all over the world, and, while popularized by musical legends such as Bobby McFerrin, it dates back to the earliest forms of human singing.

Together, We:

--Engage in fun vocal/somatic exercises

--Create improvised music

--Practice singing in parts

--Have community members teach/share their music or renditions

Almost everything at Harmonize is done A Cappella, so you just need your voice, your heart and your water!

**WHO***

Anyone who loves singing, wants to share their voice or wants to go deeper into improvising. All experience levels welcome. No auditions. No commitment. No pressure.

**COST**

If cost is a barrier, you are always still welcome. Just feel free to DM us to speak more about it.

**Your Facilitators**
