About Event

The year of agents continues, and the buzz around multi-agent systems and applications still hasn’t peaked!

The latest release at the LLM Edge when it comes to building, shipping, and sharing multi-agent applications comes from OpenAI, and it’s called Swarm.

Swarm is “an educational framework exploring ergonomic, lightweight multi-agent orchestration.” It is “intended to explore ergonomic interfaces for multi-agent systems. It is not intended to be used in production, and therefore has no official support.“

The release has a simple goal: to showcase the notion of routines and handoffs that can be used to orchestrate agents in a “simple, powerful, and controllable way.”

In this event, we’ll dig into routines and how to execute them - effectively sets of instructions in the prompt - which are apparently “not strictly defined, and [are] instead meant to capture the idea of a set of steps.” Additionally, we’ll dig into handoffs and their execution - these are the agents in the swarm!

Of course, we’ll build out a multi-agent application in code with swarm as well - join us live!

📚 You’ll learn:

  • How Swarm uses Routines and Handoffs as core constructs for Agentic orchestration

  • To meaningfully compare Swarm to other leading frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex

Who should attend the event?

  • GenAI enthusiasts interested in LLM innovation at the open-source LLM edge.

  • Aspiring AI Engineers looking to build multi-agent applications.

  • AI Engineering leaders who want to understand the latest multi-agent orchestration tools.
