Edmonton Indie Bookstore Extravaganza

​The Edmonton Indie Bookstore Extravaganza is back, in celebration of Canadian Independent Bookstore Day! Pick up a passport on April 26 at any participating bookstore and collect stamps for each indie you visit on the weekend of April 26-27, 2025. The more bookstore stamps you have, the better chance to win delightful prizes, including merch and multiple gift cards!

​GETTING AROUND

​Whirlwind Bike Tour: Paths for People is leading a whirlwind sampler bike tour on Saturday (10 mins per bookstore, skipping Variant Edition and suburbs). Limited space: register using the designated BIKE TOUR ticket.

​Bookstore Bus: Thanks to a partnership with the Edmonton Transit Services, we will have FREE Bookstore Buses for Saturday, April 26! The only fee required would be the regular LRT fee to cross the river. More info coming soon.

​Taking transit: Edmonton Transit Riders have collaborated with us to make a transit map, for visiting bookstores on Sunday (and beyond, if you want to repeat your adventure on another day!). Coming soon to our website and socials.
