This event is open to members and the general public.

A 90-Minute In-Person Intro Workshop
Facilitated by Kan Yan, Host of Parents Reimagined Podcast

What if your relationship with your parents could change—starting with you?

Many of us carry invisible patterns and pain in our relationships with our parents. Whether it’s distance, resentment, enmeshment, or longing, these dynamics often linger beneath the surface—shaping how we show up in adult life far more than we realize.

This workshop offers a supportive and reflective space to begin exploring your parent relationship in a new way. Through guided journaling, simple frameworks, and group sharing, you’ll gain clarity, compassion, and momentum toward change—without needing your parent to change first.

About Kan Yan, Host of Parents Reimagined Podcast

Kan Yan helps individuals transform family relationships by fostering deeper understanding and communication. He has taught Nonviolent Communication to hundreds, guiding them in emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and meaningful connection. He has led communication workshops and facilitated multi-year groups that promote authentic expression and relational awareness.

He is a partner at the consulting firm Evolution where he serves as an executive coach and facilitator. His background includes a law degree from Harvard, where he studied negotiation dynamics. His career spans international law, McKinsey consulting, and executive coaching for Fortune 500 leaders, startup founders, and nonprofits.

With decades of meditation practice and hundreds of days in silent retreat, Kan integrates mindfulness and Buddhist teachings into his work. He also teaches Contact Improvisation, a movement practice that fosters body-based awareness, helping individuals process emotions and relationships through physical connection.

Through workshops, groups, and the Parents Reimagined podcast, he provides tools for healing intergenerational dynamics and strengthening relationships.
