​Alexa is a 3rd Generation Classical Pilates Teacher and Personal Trainer with over 20 years experience in the health and wellness industry. She is passionate about sharing the benefits of Pilates with as many people as possible. She started her platform Low Impact Fit as a means to share this love for Pilates and since 2019 has grown a community of over half a million strong. She is also a founder of Classical Kulture Pilates, one of only 2 Black woman led classical Pilates teacher training schools, focused on teaching the classical method of Pilates to the next generation of teachers.
As a teacher Alexa believes that every body is unique and loves the focus that Classical Pilates places on finding what works best for the individual body. Her mission is to bring Pilates to the people, especially those who have traditionally been under-represented in this practice.
