The climate crisis calls for community
…and Climate Action Club is answering.

Join us for the Climate Action Club Launch Party: A Gathering for Connection, Imagination, and Community Power. This evening celebrates the official launch of Climate Action Club as a nonprofit — and the beginning of a new kind of climate community rooted in relationships, reflection, and collective momentum.

We believe community is a climate solution — and this event is a space to experience that in action. Expect thoughtful conversation, joyful connection, and creative expression. We’ll kick off with a talk featuring Kiana Kazemi and David Jay, explore an interactive art installation, contribute to Wabi Blobi’s community canvas, and engage in small-group discussions spanning climate tech, policy, organizing, and culture. Light bites and drinks will be served.

If you’re seeking a climate community that centers care, creativity, and collective imagination this is your invitation.

Tickets are $10 and help cover refreshments and photography. Space is limited; register soon!

Event plan

5:30 - 6:00: Mingling and Introductions
6:00 - 6:30: In Conversation with Kiana Kazemi & David Jay
6:30 - 8:30: Flow space — enjoy refreshments, contribute to Climate Action Club's community art projects, meet values-aligned people and take part in thematic dialogues.

To foster a shared experience, doors will close promptly at 6:00 PM and we will not be admitting late arrivals. Capacity is limited to 70 attendees and entry will be first-come, first-served.

Community Principles:

  • Growth Mindset: We are committed to learning together, deepening our understanding of climate challenges, and taking action where we’re best positioned.

  • Relationships, Not Transactions: We prioritize genuine connections over networking for opportunities, recognizing that strong relationships drive lasting change.

  • Inclusivity & Diversity: A range of perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences enriches our community and leads to better engagement and solutions.

  • Mutual Respect: We foster a respectful space where all voices are heard. We may not always agree, but we’re here to learn and grow together.

Guidelines

  • Be Kind: Listen actively when others are speaking. Avoid interrupting or dominating conversations.

  • Be Friendly and Approachable: Smile and introduce yourself to new people, especially those who may have showed up alone! Be open to meeting new people and making connections.

  • Be Mindful of Time: Keep conversations balanced, allowing others to speak and share. Respect the event’s schedule and timing.

  • Enjoy Yourself: Have fun making friends and meeting peers who share your passion for climate! Remember, everyone is there to make connections just like you.
