THEA Thursday, special edition!
To celebrate the completion of the THEA Fellowship
For 8 weeks, this amazing group has learned about what effective altruism is, and have heard experiences of people improving the world. To celebrate their efforts, THEA hosts this Graduation Dinner. All THEA students and professionals are invited to join, so that we may also learn from each other.
Schedule
We will have some food and optional drinks, in part sponsored by THEA. We bring some short discussion topics, but for the most part there is just time for random conversations.
This includes anything that can fall under EA: the importance of donating money to important causes in an effective manner, caring about other humans and animals, developments that can be significant for the future, what you can do with your personal career, and much more.
Location update will be sent closer to the date of the event. Hope to see you there!
Effective Altruism (EA): a growing social movement that has the desire to make the world as good a place as it can be. It uses evidence and reason to find out how to do so and takes action to make it happen.
