You are invited by the Maryland Department of Commerce, the University of Maryland BioPark and Connect Labs by Wexford to join fellow Maryland medtech colleagues for networking and light breakfast at this quarterly event, to learn from one another and stay up-to-date on topics that impact your business.
We are excited to be hosted by University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Baltimore Fund Director Mary Morris and Connect Labs Baltimore Site Director Mark VanderZyl. Since 2003, the BioPark has provided a dynamic lab and office environment that fosters collaboration between private life science companies and UMB's renowned academic research centers and faculty. Three of the BioPark’s seven commercial buildings have been developed in partnership with Wexford Science and Technology, a real estate development firm focused on the development of knowledge communities. 4MLK, the BioPark and Wexford’s newest project, is an eight-story, 250,000 square foot building that brings state-of-the-art laboratory and office space to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Housed in 4MLK is Connect Labs, which offers ultra-modern, ready-to-use, flexible lab and office spaces with shared resources and programming to promising early-stage start-ups.

Parking: The 4MLK parking lot, located at 23 North Fremont Avenue, on the building's west side, will be available with no charge to Maryland MedTech Meetup registrants on a first-come, first-served basis. Metered street parking is also available along North Fremont Avenue and West Baltimore Street. There is also an hourly parking garage located a few blocks west at 1 North Poppleton Street.
