Superfine: Tailoring Black Style – Guided Tour
Step into the world of Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, the 2025 Met Gala exhibition celebrating the legacy of Black fashion and the transformative power of tailored menswear. This compelling exhibit highlights Black dandyism as both a style and a social strategy—showcasing garments, photographs, paintings, and decorative arts from the 18th century to the present.
The tour will be led by Yang Hsu—art dealer, artist, and educator. Yang holds an MFA from Tufts University and leads tours at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. He also co-directs Ruomu Gallery in Taipei, bringing a global lens to the conversation.
