Join Run Tech Club during LA Techweek 2024 for a breakfast run, starting, and ending at Neuehouse Venice.
This event features a Q&A conversation with Danielle Mathews — former National Basketball Champion in India, D1 college rower, and two-time Big Ten Champion (as both an athlete and team manager). Danielle was a student manager for the Ohio State Women’s Basketball Team during record-breaking seasons, in an era when players like Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Juju Watkins, and others were transforming the landscape of women’s college basketball.
In the session, "Game Film for Founders," we will explore how adopting the mindset of an athlete can elevate an entrepreneur’s game. Drawing from her experience in elite sports, she’ll share insights on resilience, preparation, and how daring to confront reality can be key for founders aiming to thrive in the competitive world of startups.

Danielle Mathews currently serves as an Athlete Development & Experience Project Manager at The LAB, Inc. Her focus is on evaluating AI and data-driven technology platforms to enhance athlete training programs for youth and adults. Additionally, she leads the strategy development for the U.S. launch of the Nike-supported initiative "Sisters in Sweat," which aims to empower women and girls in sports. In this role, Danielle combines strategic planning, innovative thinking, and a commitment to advancing athlete development in a safe and effective manner.
