About Event

There are two crucial parts to successfully achieving product-market fit:

  • Generating disruptive or 10x product ideas: This involves identifying the ideas you are meant to build for the next 10–15 years. This step can be non-intuitive, confusing and, slow.

  • Executing these ideas with excellence: The goal here is to execute the best with what you have, survive and thrive until you hit product-market fit.

In this online workshop, Ankur Saxena (Former Head of Growth & Technology, Blinkit) will dive into the first part - mastering consumer insight systems, particularly Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) that can fuel your intuition to discover 10x consumer product ideas.

Here’s the agenda of the workshop:

  • The Power of Consumer Insights: We’ll dive deep into key learning moments from Ankur's 8-year journey of building Blinkit (formerly Grofers) and how they discovered the power of consumer insights.

  • JTBD and Other Systems for Discovering Consumer Insights: We'll explore the art of conducting consumer interviews to synthesize a job-to-be-done (JTBD) and apply other systems to discover impactful consumer insights. A live consumer interview will be conducted to illustrate the process and nuances.

  • 10x Ideas: We’ll discuss the mental models & frameworks for coming up with 10x ideas. And how to apply them for generating 10x consumer product ideas for the insights gathered in the previous steps.

  • Next steps on applying all of these insights in your journey from -1 to 0 as an early founder

  • Questions and Answers towards the end
