About Event

Join us for an intimate Fireside Chat with Ingrid Hu Dahl as she shares stories from her memoir Sun Shining on Morning Snow and opens up about navigating identity, healing, and bold leadership as a Hapa woman. Moderated by Alex Chester-Iwata, this session will explore how mixed-race identity intersects with creativity, purpose, and transformation.

Alex (she/her) is an actor and the Editor-in-Chief of Mixed Asian Media — a collaborative media platform for Mixed APIs, recognized by the Nielsen Consumer Report on Asian Americans. She also directs Mixed Asian Media Fest and was recently honored as one of the top 50 Unsung Heroes at Asian Hustle Network’s Uplifted Conference.
