About Event

The European Crypto Initiative (EUCI) is a non-profit organisation based in Brussels dedicated to shaping EU regulation to champion open, permissionless, and decentralised applications utilising blockchain technology. EUCI’s mission is to foster an innovative EU environment and support technological development for SMEs and innovative Crypto Assets Service Providers. Additionally, EUCI advocates for the inviolable rights of innovators and the widespread adoption of privacy-preserving technologies (PETs).

As part of its initiatives, EUCI is organising the Future Web3 Experts Summer School of Law right before the Ethereum Community Conference (EthCC7), the largest annual European Ethereum event focusing on technology and community development.

The EUCI Summer School of Law primarily addresses the blockchain knowledge gap for law students. With a duration of two days, the goal is to equip participants with the expertise needed to navigate the legal landscape of decentralised technologies, fostering a new generation of legal professionals well-versed in this emerging field. Furthermore, the integration of Summer School with the EthCC7 provides participants with firsthand experience and the practical applications of their acquired knowledge.

The Summer School is free for all students and young legal professionals.

It will take place on the 7th and 8th of July.
