How to write about your work in 30 mins a week - March 2024 - a Catalyst workshop for people working in non-profit organisations
Writing about our work is a powerful way to communicate with colleagues and our networks.
However, even though we all write everyday when it comes to writing about our work we often get stuck. Uffft.
Either writing doesn't feel important enough to make time for, or we don't feel we are good enough, or we believe there are rules we have to follow (there aren't any). Uffft uffft.
That's a bummer, because when we write about our work and share it with others we create connection and people's understanding of us grows. This is 'open working' - in action.
About this workshop
This 2hr workshop will teach you how to write and publish a short weeknote about your work in 30 minutes. You will take part in 5 short exercises and listen to some theory.
My promise to you
After this workshop you will feel ready enough to write about your work in a way that you want to. You will feel less restricted in how you write and what you write about.
A 5 star workshop
I've already delivered this workshop 12 times, with consistently good feedback. I am delighted to be able to offer it to everyone interested in the Catalyst network.
