About Event

Join us for an event focused on empowerment, education, and connection in support of female-led innovation and success in the startup world. Hosted by Fenwick, Female Founder Collective and AmplifyHer Ventures, this program offers invaluable insights, actionable strategies, and networking opportunities tailored to empower female founders in scaling their businesses.

Our panel of experienced founders and funders will share their personal journeys to success and discuss how they overcame barriers, while also offering perspectives on navigating the intricate landscape of venture capital at all stages, including negotiating deal terms and managing investor expectations. Brooke Baldwin will then sit down with Fenwick partner Sarah Chambless for a fireside chat about Brooke's experiences at CNN, her book Huddle, and the importance of having a tribe around you.

Meghan Cross, Partner at AmplifyHER Ventures. Brooke Baldwin, a renowned TV host, journalist, and bestselling author, recently made headlines with her Vanity Fair essay, "Leaving CNN Was How I Found My Voice." With a decade-long tenure at CNN, she's recognized for her authenticity and versatility. Baldwin's latest ventures include hosting Netflix's popular social experiment show called The Trust and authoring the bestselling book, "Huddle: How Women Unlock Their Collective Power." Sarah Chambless is a Corporate partner at Fenwick. She provides expert counsel to rapidly scaling technology companies and their venture capital and strategic investors. Living and breathing startup culture, Sarah's experience lies in helping growth-stage startups navigate financings (equity and debt), technology licensing, strategic joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and corporate compliance. Sarah also has experience in the planning, structuring and formation of venture capital funds, incubators, and venture studios for institutional and corporate investors.
