How to Start & Finish your Sketches
This is the Zoom-version of my workshop from Sketcher Fest in Edmonds (Washington, USA) earlier this year. It is designed to tackle the biggest obstacles to a regular drawing practice - getting started on the blank page, and finishing sketches in time.
This workshop can be attended by anyone regardless of skill level as long as they want to -
✍🏼 build a sustainable drawing habit,
🕰️ find time for art in a busy life, or
💌 become more mindful of their environment.
Plan
(20min) Intro and Demo 1
(30min) Exercise 1 - How to Start Quickly
(20min) Demo 2
(30min) Exercise 2 - How to Finish Quickly
(20min) Some Good Ideas and Q&A
Participants should bring -
📕 lots of paper (because we will draw a lot), and
✒️ their choice of pen or pencil (because the best tool is the one you like to use)
Here is a sneak peek into my instructor sheet from Sketcher Fest!
Note: A video of the workshop will be made available to all participants.
