The Tech Bros is a social enterprise run by Milette and Sedinam with the aim of funding female-founded tech companies: the most undervalued talent pool in the startup space. We target exclusively women in highly technical fields, with a focus on postgrads and PhDs, and help them go from 0 to 1 through our hands-on events (since our launch in May we've worked with Google, Imperial, Oxford, HCVC, OSE, and Oxford Capital to run hackathons, panels, and workshops encouraging entrepreneurship). We're launching our accelerator program in the summer of 2025, with a particular focus on AI / ML, robotics, aerospace, hardware, and quantum startups. Innovate Cambridge was launched in September 2022 to define the future of the Greater Cambridge life sciences and technology ecosystem to ensure it continues to transform the UK and the world for the better. The Glasshouse is Innovate Cambridge's new space for the innovation community in Cambridge.
IE Cambridge is the central hub for all the University’s innovation and entrepreneurship activities, so that budding entrepreneurs - from undergrads through to faculty - are better able to access all the opportunities on offer. It provides resources, case studies and useful events to inspire and support entrepreneurs at whatever stage they are at and signpost them to the various societies, competitions, programmes and networking opportunities taking place across the University.
