EA Tech London May Meetup feat. Apollo Research
For the next Effective Altruism Tech London meetup we're teaming up with Apollo Research, an AI Safety organisation developing an AI evaluation suite to detect deception and potentially other dangerous behaviours in large AI models. Alongside their research, they also assist lawmakers with their technical expertise in auditing and model evaluation, including presenting at the UK’s AI Safety Summit.
We'll be hearing a talk from Apollo Research CEO and co-founder Marius Hobbhahn as well as opportunities for discussion on AI Safety in general and opportunities within the space.
The meet up will be hosted by London Initiative for Safe AI (LISA) in their new co-working space (note the location has changed since our last event at LISA!).
Doors from 7pm, talk from 8ish and discussion until we get kicked out.
As always there'll be some drinks and vegan food available, plus fascinating company of course.
