Intro to Hackathons

​📣 Join us at the Introduction to Hackathons Workshop to learn everything you need to know about the basics of a hackathon. We will cover what a hackathon is, steps and advice for building your project, and techniques for crafting your project pitch and demo. There will also be information on the hackathon schedule, structure of the hackathon, judging criteria, and more. This workshop is targeted towards first time hackers, so please attend if this is your first hackathon.

Hosted by Anderson Tseng 🙌! Anderson is a second year computer science student and the president of the Langara Computer Science Club. He has attended hackathons at Waterloo, UBC, as well as multiple online hackathons. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to vocaloid music, taking pictures of clouds, and playing video games.
