Join us for an insightful event where we delve into the latest research in Generative AI. ​​Featured Researchers

​This event will feature researchers from Columbia, NYU, and Cornell.

​Niv Cohen is a postdoc at New York University, where he researches methods to detect and understand unexpected phenomena in machine learning models and scientific data. His recent work spans robust watermarking for images, adversarial attacks on generative models, and red teaming approaches for AI safety.

​Jack Morris is a PhD at Cornell Tech and a visiting researcher at FAIR (AI at Meta). A former Google Brain Resident, his research focuses on understanding representation vectors inside language models - exploring where embeddings come from, what they mean, and how to improve them.

​Shiyu Wang is a PhD at Columbia University developing innovative approaches to manifold denoising and signal reconstruction. Her research introduces a novel framework that grows optimizers from noisy data, with mixed-order methods guaranteeing superior performance compared to traditional approaches.

​Your Organizers

​​Prithvi Rajasekaran is an Applied AI Engineer @ Anthropic and leads the GenAI Collective in NYC. His past experience includes work at MIT's Auto ID Lab and C3 AI, where he developed AI applications for Fortune 500 companies and led Applied AI research projects on IoT, voice recognition, and medical use cases.

​​Alex Pizzirani is a quantitative researcher at AllianceBernstein L.P.

​​Saurav Velleleth is a Solutions Architect at Cohere, advising enterprises on building AI systems. He was previously at Retool and C3 AI, as well as a co-founder of Dogwood Technology Associates.

​​​Rahul Verma leads partnerships for the GenAI Collective in New York, connecting the chapter with businesses and other organizations in the city's AI ecosystem. He works as a Senior Software Engineer at AppliedXL, where he architects LLM-based pipelines that deliver insights for leading investment researchers, newsrooms, and industry analysts.
