About Event

Introducing you a retrospective exhibition featuring the works from year 2013 to 2023 of generative digital artist KYND

"For years, I have been creating digital works inspired by hand paintings and drawings. Although I draw with code, there is a strong aspect of introspection regarding the act and experience of drawing rather than the drawing itself. To borrow the words someone wrote for me, it can be described as "an exploration of the boundaries between computer algorithms, handcrafted aesthetics, and physical phenomena.”"

KYND's work blends digital technologies with the aesthetics of traditional painting mediums and since 2013, he has developed a wide variety of techniques, yet his creations have remained largely unseen by the public.

This solo exhibition, curated by Braw Haus, marks the first time KYND’s innovative art will be showcased in New York, offering audiences an exclusive look at the evolution of his poetic coding.

Panel talks

7:30 pm - *45min *

Alongside KYND's retrospective exhibit, we're featuring a panel talk between KYND and Jimmie James, an abstract traditional artist from Brooklyn, New York, born in 1955. This talk between James and KYND offers a conversation between their artistic process. It's a moment for attendees to explore diverse art practices and witness the intersection of two distinct artistic approaches, from a traditional to a digital art point of view.

8:30pm - * 20min *

Consensys and Braw Haus will discuss the importance of community in the Web3 space, illustrated by an upcoming collection they have been working on, focusing on digital art lovers, curators, collectors, and artists.
