About Event

Watch video of the project that you will learn to build above ☝

This is a live online session where Raghav Srivastava will teach you to Optimize performance and handle time-critical events like flashing a bulb periodically in small IoT devices and microcontrollers.

You will Learn:

  1. Using port manipulation, a faster way to control GPIO pins than digital write.

  2. Using timers to have periodic events like flashing an LED without blocking the code.

Recommendation for the event:

  • Basic Knowledge Of Arduino Framework- functions like digitalWrite(), digitalRead(), analogWrite(), analogRead() and delay() will be enough.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS for building the UI. You should know how to make an XML HTTP Request.

  • For the hardware you will need:

    • One Bolt IoT Wifi module

    • One Arduino Nano (Uno will also work but nano is recommended)

    • A few male to male jumper cables(around 15), optionally some male to female and female to female jumper cables

    • 4-6 small LEDs

    • A breadboard

    • Cable for programming the Arduino

More about the trainer:

Raghav Srivastava has just completed his 12th grade and is passionate about electronics, programming and computer science. He is well versed in C, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, PCB designing and 3D modeling. He won the second prize in the ‘Bolt IoT and ML Innovation Challenge’ for his project ‘Google Assistant Automated Toilet Flush’.
