About Event

Enlighten us, but make it quick: 5 minutes, 20 slides, 15 seconds each

IgniteAI is a new speaker series highlighting brilliant minds in technology. It goes beyond typical pitch sessions and delves into the how and why behind innovation. Prepare for rapid-fire sharing of opinions and ideas. Ignite Talks, a global speaker series, inspired this format. Each talk lasts five minutes, with twenty auto-advancing slides every fifteen seconds. Brady Forrest, Ignite Talks' Founder, will be hosting.

Our Speakers:

Bethany Crystal - ChatGPT Saved My Life, a True & Scary Story

Ben Parr - A Theory of Ventures Taken

Marisa Feinberg - Climate, Psychedelics, and AI

Seref Yarar - Let The Agents Do The Finding

In the future, there won’t be search engines, dating apps, or separate discovery tools. Agents will handle discovery, and we are building the discovery protocol for this. Index enables AI agents to securely query private data using TEE-powered compute, while maintaining composability with public sources.

Eduardo Albrecht - Political Automation: AI in Government and the Changing Nature of Citizenship

Governments now routinely use AI-based software to gather information about citizens and determine the level of privacy a person can enjoy, how far they can travel, what public benefits they may receive, and what they can and cannot say publicly. What input do citizens have in how these machines think? Drawing upon years of fieldwork with digital rights activists, anthropologist Eduardo Albrecht examines popular attempts to interact with this novel form of algorithmic governance. An in-depth look at how political automation impacts the lives of citizens, this talk addresses the challenges at the heart of automation in public policy decision-making and offers a way forward.

Rattandeep Singh AI-driven Travel Planning and Booking Platform
This talk would provide insights into a novel graph-based clustering algorithm for itinerary optimization, our modular AI agent approach, and the challenges of building a scalable, real-time travel assistant. I believe the audience will find it valuable from both a technical and practical perspective.

Chenuli Jayasinghe - LLM Safety: A Serious Oversight

Highlights the need for better LLM safety guidelines, for each and every published model. I’ll share how I made a small 7B model act negatively and even agree to harm humans through careful prompting—showing why stricter safety testing is essential.

Darlin Alberto - What Building an AI Legal Assistant Taught Me About the Future

What happens when you unleash AI to simplify legal contracts for everyone? In this rapid-fire Ignite AI talk, I’ll take you through the wild ride of building Atticus, an AI legal assistant designed to break down contracts into plain English and challenge an industry resistant to change. Born from a friend’s gym contract question, Atticus grew into a global tool with paying users—yet I shut it down after 18 months. Why? The answers reveal how AI can reshape society and supercharge productivity if you can survive the hurdles.
