coFood x DWeb Garden Kickoff! Work Party & Potluck

​Urban Ag x DWeb - come build soil and community! Kick off the growing season with the coFood Collaborative Garden, an experiment in collective stewardship of an urban food and flower garden.

​The coFood garden is the venue for DWeb Garden gatherings held throughout the growing season. Help get the garden ready for the season and build connections with your local DWeb folk.

​Work starts at 1pm and wraps by 4pm. There will be a DWeb garden potluck afterwards, roughly 4 to 6:30pm. When you register for this event, you can indicate if you're coming to either, or both.

​There is a minifridge on site if you bring something for the potluck which needs refrigeration.

​Garden work on this day will likely include:

• ​turning compost

• ​spreading mulch!

• ​planting seedlings

• ​building / rebuilding garden beds

• ​photography and documentation of native plants

• ​painting signs

​Plan to wear decent shoes, and bring water and snacks!

​Accessibility

​The location is a block east of Main and 4th Ave., a roughly 10 minute walk from the Main St-Science World skytrain station. There is street parking in the neighbourhood. The garden is at ground level.
