handmade journal binding workshop
workshop: handmade journal binding + creative writing
join us for a hands-on journal binding workshop where you’ll create your own personalized journal from scratch using recycled paper and the japanese binding technique. mix, match, and collage your way to a one-of-a-kind notebook!
led by ipek ozbay, co-founder of Paper Street, the session will guide you through the art of journal binding — from selecting materials to designing your cover and stitching it all together. we will also explore how intention-setting can turn a blank page into a ritual.
in the second part of the workshop, we will introduce journaling techniques and close with a mini silent journaling session inspired by a thoughtful quote or prompt.
by the end, you’ll walk away with at least one (if not more!) handmade journal and a practice to carry with you.
all materials will be provided.
