About Event

A space to be in community with men looking to repair and explore with their own gender identity & their relationships with others in the identity.

Here are some questions we might explore:

  • how can I feel empowered expressing difficult feelings like shame, desire, anger?

  • how do I want to relate to my identity as a man and requisite gender roles?

  • how can I communicate through conflict and build resilient relationships with integrity?

  • what does it mean to take up space in my authentic gender identity?

  • how do I dismantle learned patterns of competitiveness or aversion to vulnerability with other men?

Men are rarely given the opportunity to build trust with one another and hold these questions together. Many of us take refuge in relationship with femmes to explore our own emotionality. And many of us learn that our feelings are better suppressed so that we don't accidentally perpetuate patriarchal harm. What if we could do this work together?

This is our space to to hold one another and from there, cultivate a different culture of manhood. One that’s not rooted in aggression or unmet feelings but rather in free emotionality and mutual witnessing.

As an open house, this is a "come as you are" space. There is no expectation beyond your presence for the full 4 hours and willingness to show yourself in a group with other men.

I (Rishi) am a sex & intimacy coach who organizes workshops and coaching groups for men in the United States. I'm excited to bring this work to Berlin. I will facilitate something that helps us build trust and drive the conversation. However, I hope the evening progresses such that we all can feel ownership of what happens.

Some folks attending this may choose to continue working together in a more explicit container. More on that later if you're interested.

Finally, I'm offering this on the principle of dāna. This event is open to all without any payment but I do request a donation (suggested €50, I'm on Wise) which I ask you do not make until the very end of the session. There is no wrong donation amount, including 0.

If you are aware of a space we can use, I would grateful for a tip!

Looking forward to sharing this space with you all!
