About Event

Join Steve Eccles, Dean and CEO of Northeastern University's Vancouver campus, as he discusses the future of clean energy with Greg Twinney, CEO of B.C.-based General Fusion. Greg will share how zero-emissions and on-demand commercial fusion energy will transform the world's energy supply and provide an overview of General Fusion’s practical and economical Magnetized Target Fusion approach to creating viable fusion power.

About Greg

Greg Twinney joined General Fusion in 2020 with a well-established track record of executive leadership. Serving as General Fusion’s chief financial officer for two years, he expanded the company’s investor base and helped to launch the Fusion Demonstration Program. In 2022, he took the top spot as General Fusion’s chief executive officer. Greg’s experience prior to joining General Fusion demonstrates his ability to set the groundwork to create massive shareholder value for technology-enabled companies. He worked in varied C-level roles in complex industries, moving companies through all stages of maturity and scale, across all functions of the businesses.
