​As the Paris Summit on Artificial Intelligence approaches, with critical debates on the future of artificial intelligence, it is imperative to ensure that its development is paused.  

​We must act now to demand an immediate halt to AI advances until their safety is rigorously established. Unregulated AI poses a significant threat to our future and our collective security.

​Our demands:

​An immediate suspension of the development of AI until solid security guarantees are obtained. The establishment of strict regulations governing the use of AI, both in the Republic of Congo and internationally.  

​Why it is essential:

​The ongoing discussions in Paris provide a critical opportunity for AI safety concerns to be addressed. The Republic of Congo must play a key role in protecting the future of its citizens and ensuring that artificial intelligence is developed and used responsibly, in the service of humanity.
