Dr. Rashan is sharing his journey and vision for the future of healthcare. His professional trajectory took a pivotal turn after contracting COVID-19. This experience catalyzed the creation of ClearMD, a pioneering network of testing, urgent and specialty care clinics across New York City. His leadership has guided a team of over 200 employees across 3 countries, managing in-house software development and leveraging laboratory partnerships and business contracts throughout the country.
Dr. Rashan’s primary goal has always been to enhance patient outcomes, and in this pursuit, he has learned to reduce physician turnover and generate cost savings for insurance companies through strategic partnerships. This dynamic and multifaceted approach transformed his flagship COVID-testing clinic into a nationally-acclaimed provider, offering medical care and testing across 7 New York City locations and caring for more than 300,000 patients to date.
Dr. Rashan’s goal is also to provide mentorship and support to young physicians, enabling them to navigate and positively impact the healthcare system. This includes education on creating and modifying medical infrastructure, granting them more autonomy in patient care through various means like activism or policy change. This includes supporting and encouraging physician entrepreneurship, thereby fostering a community of medical innovators.
