About Event

Get ready to raise your voices and banners high at the Justice for Palestinians (JFP) Solidarity Rally and March! Join us at 2PM on November 19, 2023 at Calgary City Hall.

Join us for a gathering to show our unwavering support for Palestinians and to urge our government to call for a ceasefire. Our organizing team will share a few words and then lead the march down the streets of our city to call for justice.

Bring your friends, your family and spread the word. Let's make our voices heard and show our government that we stand with Palestine!

Sunday's rally will be emceed by JFP member and local community organizer Saima Jamal. This event is also co-hosted with Voice of Oppressed and Calgary Students for Palestine.

We will have remarks from 2:00 -3:00 PM, then begin our march through the streets of Calgary at 3:00 PM.

MARCH ROUTE

After leaving City Hall, we will march westbound on 8th avenue SW, turn left (southbound) on 5th street, then left (eastbound) on 9th avenue back to City Hall.

Please remember to dress for the weather as this is an outdoor event. We also ask that attendees remain on the designated march route at all times to ensure safety of all group members.
