About the Circle
The climate crisis is reshaping Indian cities- choking air, drying taps, flooded streets, and heatwaves that push our limits. While hundreds of ideas exist, many never make it past pilot mode (or event to the pilot mode).
This circle is for founders, climate professionals, policy workers and ambitious problem-solvers who want to work on interventions that can scale. We’ll explore high-leverage sectors- energy, waste, water, food, and buildings- and map practical actions that can be taken now. Expect sharper insights, actionable ideas, and potential collaborators who share your urgency for impact.
About the Initiator
The initiator spent years studying Indian cities, building climate action plans, and navigating endless policy discussions. He's lived through Delhi’s poisonous air, Bangalore’s water shortages, and Mumbai’s urban floods. While working with organisations developing climate action plans, he realised that most of the discussions and the work end up in a report which is never really used to address any action on-ground. The report becomes yet another tool to serve top-down interests and no real change.
After leaving his job to focus on on-ground climate action, he's bringing together people who can push solutions from the margins to the mainstream.
