​Crescentia is a weekly creative sanctuary and node of Socratica held every Sunday where Guelph's creators, digital artisans, aspiring entrepreneurs, and curious minds gather to work on their passions. It's a dedicated space for focused creation, offering you the perfect environment to breathe life into those ideas you've been dreaming about. Share your work, break bread with fellow creators, gather thoughtful insights, forge meaningful connections, and let your imagination flourish in a community of kindred spirits. Whether you're coding, designing, writing, or building, Crescentia is where your passion finds its home <3

​Creators, craftspeople, explorers, scholars, entrepreneurs and all those who defy categories! Whether you're composing a perspective-shifting story, bringing your artistic vision to life, cultivating a groundbreaking venture, or developing that passion project you've been dreaming of, there's a place for you here! Come be part of Guelph's vibrant community of makers and dreamers.

​When/Where:

• ​​​​Downtown Guelph

• ​​​Doors open from 11:45am-12:15 pm, hosts will be there earlier.

• ​12:15 PM- 12:30 PM - Beginning ritual 
  We have a hard start at 12:30pm. If you're late and it's quiet, feel free to grab a seat anywhere! We're just in the middle of a working sesh :)

• ​12:30 PM - 1:25 PM - Work Session 1

• ​1:25 PM - 1:35 PM - Break

• ​1:35 PM - 2:30 PM - Work Session 2

• ​2:30 PM - 3 PM- Casual Demos + closing ritual!

​Why:

• ​​​​We procrastinate too much on our side projects even though we have so much fun doing them - feels like we're not alone in this and want to keep others accountable for working on what they're passionate about.

• ​​​The vibes are immaculate and the Crescentia community feels like a very open friend group!

​​​​Rules/guidelines on how to act:

• ​​​Don't work on your main thing (school or your job)! - if you don't know what to work on, I'm sure we can help you find something :)

• ​​​Act like a host, include people in conversations, talk to people even if they're strangers, offer to help out and clean up. If you're here to just "network", you've come to the wrong place 🙃. Think of this more as a way to make cool friends while building cool things!
