About Event

Memecoins have surged, suggesting a deeper phenomenon beyond speculation. Platforms like Pump.Fun and Bonk, now more profitable than L2 solutions, indicate that meme coins are here to stay and evolve. These coins are expanding in scope and influence, reflecting broader socio-economic trends and potentially becoming “meaning coins.”

Because of this we wanted to think about this differently. Instead of traditional product categories, we should start to evaluate Meme Coins based on cultural categories. The aim of this call is to dig deep on these categories and metrics together.

Cultural Categorization: Invest based on cultural value and lasting social impact. We plan on discussing what that means and how to think about the community and "meaning" behind the meme token.

Assessment Metrics: Evaluate as cultures, considering pioneers, movement impact, and community engagement. We invite you to share unique or controversial metrics that they use to evaluate meme coins. These can be metrics that are not widely adopted but provide valuable insights.

Also, instead of having experts give long presentations or talks, we plan to invite project founders/community leaders that can contribute to the evaluation process by sharing their specific metrics and insights during the discussion. It will be a mix of meme founders, platform reps, investors, and cultural experts to ensure a well-rounded discussion. This diversity helps in capturing different aspects of cultural impact and evaluation.
