Public Health Careers 101

​For GPS purposes, this event will take place at the "Hamilton County Public Health Disease Prevention Clinic", which is located at 5050 Section Avenue, 45212. By searching the name, it should direct you to the ramp/second level, which is closer to the correct entrance and plenty of parking. Proceed up the ramp and park on the left-hand side of the lot. You may enter through the entrance on the left under the 5050 sign above door. Photos of entrance are located in the student shared drive.

​What happens at this event:

​A fun, deep dive into the world of public health! Public Health touches every part of healthcare (and beyond), so even if you have no interest in this as a profession, it is a great field to get a deeper understanding. You will explore everything from public health/epidemiology in restaurants, to water treatment to frequent reasons why people visit their disease prevention clinics. We'll also participate in activities, tour their huge space and clinic, and talk with clinicians and the medical director there.
